Dear HCSSA members,


First, thank you all for your continuing support for the Harvard Chinese Students and Scholars Association! And as the president of the past year, I would like to give a special thanks to all our management team members for their selfless dedication during the New Student Pick-up and Reception, Mid-autumn Gala, 5K Benefit Run, Spring Festival Gala, and the countless other activities, which made the past year extremely fulfilling and memorable!


As the 2014-2015 term is coming to an end, this week marks the start of our election season! If you have a desire to help build a strong and supportive Chinese community, if you have a passion to advocate for the Chinese culture and Chinese voice, HCSSA is the right place for you! You are welcomed to participate in this year’s election. All positions are open to be elected for a one-year term.


The time-line for this year’s elections is the following:

  • 04/27/2015 12:00pm Deadline to submit application for candidacy

  • 05/01/2015 12:00pm Start of campaign (candidates info will be online)

  • 05/04/2015 12:00pm Ballots open

  • 05/10/2015 12:00pm End of voting

  • 05/13/2015 12:00pm Announcement of results
